A Apixis Company
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Socixis (https://socixis.dev) is operated by Apixis. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Contact: socixis@apixis.dev
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and workspace details you enter.
- Content you create: captions, images, videos and website drafts you make or upload in Socixis.
- Connected account data: when you connect a social or Google account, we store an encrypted OAuth access token and refresh token plus a basic account label (for example your YouTube channel name and ID).
- Usage data: basic logs and analytics used to run and improve the service.
- Payment data: Stripe handles payments. We do not store full card numbers.
2. Google user data
Socixis asks for access to Google user data only when you choose to connect a Google service on the Connections page.
| Google service | Permission | What Socixis does with it |
|---|---|---|
| YouTube | youtube.upload | Uploads a video you created or picked in Socixis to your channel, with the title and description you approved. This happens only when you publish or schedule that post. |
| YouTube | youtube.readonly | Reads your channel ID and channel name once, so the connected channel shows correctly in Socixis. |
| Google Calendar (if enabled) | calendar.events.readonly | Shows your next upcoming events from your primary calendar in your Socixis workspace. It does not create, edit or delete events. |
| Gmail (if enabled) | gmail.readonly | Shows the subject, sender and time of your 10 latest inbox messages in your workspace. Socixis does not send, change or delete mail. |
| Basic profile | openid, email | Identifies which Google account you connected. |
We do not:
- sell Google user data;
- use Google user data for advertising, including targeted or retargeted ads;
- transfer Google user data to third parties, except as needed to provide the features above, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you;
- let humans read Google user data, unless you agree to it for a specific support request, it is needed for security or abuse investigation, or the law requires it;
- use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
Limited Use. Socixis's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube features use YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's privacy policy is at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
3. How we store and protect data
OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. Connections are tied to your workspace and to the user who connected them. Access to production systems is limited.
4. Retention and deletion
- Disconnecting an account on the Connections page stops Socixis from using it.
- You can also remove Socixis's access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- To delete your account and stored data, email socixis@apixis.dev. We delete it within 30 days, except data we must keep by law (such as billing records).
- Gmail and Calendar items are fetched to show in your workspace. We do not keep a separate copy of message or event content.
5. Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, protect the OAuth sign-in flow, and remember preferences, plus basic analytics.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by emailing socixis@apixis.dev.
7. Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above.
